Default [Weapon] H&K69A1 - 40mm Grenade Launcher [WIP](FDF)

I spent few weeks modeling the HK69 to it's current state, but then started playing with the RK 62, and haven't had time to finish it.

Exactly 3000 tris currently.

Without further ado, the real HK69A1:



And my attempt.

Heh I got the same thing half modelled myself as I was going to suggest it as a Alternative GL for US/USMC . Looking good though!

Two things caught my eye,



1.) Looks like you were going to cut a hole in here (looking at the ref)? That or those edges can be got rid of imo
2.) might be worth removing these edges also as it will rarely be seen from 1p (Maybe only in deploy anim) and not worth it on the 3p.
3) Make the inside of the barrel a cone to save tris (You might have already..)

Nice model though, would love to see this with the functional GL sights

Yeah, not sure what were I doing, I'll probably cut the hole there.

True. I'll most likely fix the knub for sling too, since it looks awful.

I don't think it can be made a cone, since the grenade is placed from the other end and the barrel can be looked through.

Thanks , the functional GL sights are the thing I scare the most, since I'm thinking of animating it too.

That looks really cool. But from my personal view I would like to see the MM1 Grenade Launcher, or the M79 Grenade Launcher. That's just me tho. Everyone has their own view about it.

(Moved to Modelling & Animations) Model just about done, needs to be UV mapped now. Staker is on LOA.
