Invalid cd key??

okey i dl the new map pack and everything went fine. But when i tried to connect to a server a message came up saying: Your cd key is not valid?
Whats the problem and how can this be solved?

Forgive me but I have to ask, Do you have a retail copy of Bf2?

Im sure I saw a similar problem last year on the Total BF2 forums, have a look around there.

Ok, thats good, eliminates the obvious problem. I'll have a goose at the TBF2 forums too when I get a minute.

check BF2 this could be a vannillia problem as well
or you can re input (if vannillia does not work) in the bf2 folder the is an E reg program that you can use to re verify.

There's nothing that PR is doing that can affect a BF2 CD Key afaik. We don't touch any of the BF2 "system" files.

This *is* a common problem with BF2, I had it as well.. I actually ended up following some very obtuse instructions on the EA support site to resolve it.

thx guys i solved it. I just had to enter the cd key again and then it worked fine. PS... i love the new maps

How did you re-enter your CD key?
