Ramiel '93

Was there ever a discussion on making a map like Ramiel circa 1993? Where the fight is the same, accept the U.S. kit is with iron sights?

Seems like it would be an interesting fight with the INS side to make both sides to have to bring the fight in close. Something like the Nam maps, or some other desert maps, without the "annoying" vegetation.

Comes up all the time, usually story is that it is too low priority for the devs, but if somebody wanted to create the 1993 camo and weapon load-outs for the US Army it can be done.

My interest was more the desert urban fighting ground, where both side would have to come in close to engage, because of the lack of optics.

Too bad we can't just throw the iron sight kits in for the U.S. and call it fun without having to have the new uniforms that add nothing to the game play experience.

Would also be a good excuse to get the wooden M14 Marksman back into play.

Though the AAS layer that is obviously meant for '93 needs some serious adjustments made to it. Ticket count for one.

For what I can see that is just the regular US ARMY UH-60 with the olive Drab paint scheme. The Black Hawks used by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment are different. First of all they used MH-60 K and L, which both have FLIRs and the K a refueling probe. Another big visual difference is the badass Black Paint scheme the Night Stalkers use.
