Default CAS basecamping

Is subj considered normal? Like. Do you, or your server, or your admins considering shooting down landing plane in the DOD(not on the runway, but landing) okay?

most of the server's out there say "do not shoot or chase enemy CAS unless in Dog fight"

so this mean that it not allowed to shoot down a jet while they try to land, that's what the DOD is made for, with the invisible wall barrier.........

Hmm, why can't we shoot down planes landing?

I believe it has something to do with planes landing = ground enemies, and people would push it even farther than that if it was a rule.
It's all serverside, though.

Following-in-dogfight is a good rule, but it can be annoying when F15 decides to 'accidentally' drop some bombs ontop of vehicles in main on Khami.

7. Aircombat and AA
7.1. As a jet, do not get close to the enemy main base when you are not dogfighting.
7.2. As a jet, chasing an enemy jet into their main is permitted unless the enemy jet touches the runway.
7.3. As a stationary or mobile aa, manpad or jet, do not lock on to enemy helicopters or flares in or above their main base and do not lock on to enemy jets in their main base.
We never had problems using these rules. Clear and easy to understand.

Invisible Dod has always been a problem. And because of multiple layouts on the same map, it is not possible to place a red marking alerting the DOD boundary directly on the map.
