Win 8.1 Error code 1231 - unable to find updater executable

Hello, I downloaded PR today and I am getting this error when trying to update. Here's the log:

Warning: 1231: Cannot apply update! Unable to find updater executable. Please reinstall Project Reality: BF2

I can see the updater in Project Reality BF2\mods\pr\bin.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

In 1.6.3, the shortcut is broken for updating. Run the launcher directly (at PR Folder/mods/pr/bin/) when you need to update.
