Car bleeding

How come if the car I am in hits a pothole I bleed? ( or is it the car damage but if so I don't think cars bleed)

yes i notice this to. weird also with planes.

I think it is because at that stage the radiator is gone so the car over heats and eventally starts to burn.

Also when you bleed yous arrow that point were you got shot appers. I think im getting shot when this happens.
