Spinning round round

Hi guys, after i had a little crash in my system i tried to start pr again, but it wont let me connect to the account server. it just shows the loading screen with the spinning dogmark for like 20 hours with no error message appearing. i dont know what to do. any suggestions.

ps : if it makes any difference i am using xp.

EA server fail or GameSpy thing?

Do you use zonealarm firewall? Or any other firewall? Sometimes crashes mess with them and you might have to reallow BF2 to connect. If I remember correctly it has happened to me before.
