Hello everbody having a server problem

Hello, i am very new to Project Reality and I am having a few problems with getting in a server here is what i did hopefully some spots my problem

*Wanted somthing more then BF2 so did a google search for BF2 mods

*Went to this site and i read up on what is going on and thought this was for me

*Went tot he Files part of the website and read there at the bottom i clicked Download Now

*Downloaded it and got it running on my computer nicely

*Jumped in the game, everthign runing clean and smooth

*clicked mulitplayer

*... no servers...

*apllied the fliter non ranked and same mod and same version

*... still no servers

*so i thought what if i dont have the right version

*clicked same version

*hey what do you know servers and there the maps of the mod

*got off the game and came back to site

*cant find updater

*came to forums and here i am

Any ideas

Cross posting in different sections of the forum is not looked upon as good etiquette in any forum, nor will it help you get more views, it'll just make people like you less.

The correct installation method for PR players to get out there on the servers is ;

Install retail disc
install vBF2 patch v1.41
install PR v0.609 mod

launch game from PR shortcut or switch in vBNF2 launched game using the communities tab to find the mod.

widescreen fixes are available, although normally most people add them to the shortcut.

You are not "running a server" as everyone reading the thread title will assume, you are running the clinet and trying to find servers.

There is a post somewhere with images of the correct tabs in server browser screen to click to ensure you see servers. Not sure where that is now.

Here you go, please read the manual and be careful when you play - theres a steep learning curve thats worth it!

Thanks for the info Mrd im going to reinstall BF2 and try again, and ZZEZ thanks for your information but it dosent help i read the wiki befor playing when wating for download and the Readme
