What do you guys think of this card ? I am going to be putting a new system together and am going from the x1900 to this card.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz LGA 775 Processor
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel
CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 520W Power Supply
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD2900Pro 512MB 2DVI/VIVO HDCP PCI-Express Video Card

The 2900 is roughly equivalent to an nVidia 8600. Personally I'm waiting for the 2950 to come out before I get rid of my 8800GTX (which is for sale...anybody?...damn)

Apparently nVidia are reworking it to make it harder, better, faster, stronger...(pauses Daft Punk song) and reshipping as the 8800GS or something like that, which will supposedly be equivalent/superior to the 2950.

Nvidia appears to be doing better than Ati atm, so I'd go for an 8800 (8600 is said to be rather sucky), or wait for a 8900. I have an 8800GTS 640MB, which is doing just fine. I feed it some World in Conflict every morning for breakfast.

I have an Evga 8800gts 640mb from Launch and i love it! The HD 2900 pro is not worth getting it's beat out by cards far below it's price range(aka 8600gts, 7900gt, etc) Maybe wait 2 weeks for the 8800gt and 8800gs? They will replace the 8600's to an extent and will be better performing.
