Xfire & PR 0.75

I normally use xfire to launch me directly into my favorite server, but I'm having problems since 0.75 now PR.exe has to be run.

Does anyone know how to set-up xfire to do this as I'm now getting kicked for shader issues.

you will get banned for going in with xfire is it really that hard going in with teh normal pr.exe. there isnt to many servers anyway with people on so it wont be hard to find your server.

You won't get banned.

You'll just get kicked.

I know of a way but I'm not posting anywhere until I got it tested and number of servers without the shader check is minimal

Open Xfire !! and then open PR from ur desktop shortcut
dont launch the game from xfire ...

make a bat file and call it what ever you want. I call mine test.bat, insert following into it:

@echo off
cd ..
cd ..
cd ..
mods\pr\pr.exe %*

and locate the file inside a folder in pr mod folder meaning something like following
D:\Pelit\BF22\mods\pr\fake\test.bat
Then grab some free bat to exe converter, i used
Bat To Exe Converter - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com
Then name the newly created exe bf2.exe and save it in that newly created folder and point your xfire to use that new as BF2.exe and you are set.

Now normal bf2 works as will reality from xfire.
