Punkbuster again...........

I'm tired of this crappy program. I waited so long for this .8 release, and then to download it, and now punk buster wont even let me join a damn game. It says my cd key is incorrect! How is this when I've been using the same game for months playing regular bf2 online, and PR? What is the point of this program. I've never seen it do anything good, it's so stupid. How do I fix this? Let me guess, uninstall everything first, instlal again, download the huge bf2 patch then try it again? *$*% that. I've done it to many times to fix a little stupid PB problem. Is there any other way? I mean what the *$&% would cause it to randomly think my cd key is wrong today? WTF?!

Please help guys, I want to play so bad.
