Remove the rear entry on Log Truck
Since nobody is riding in the back anymore, can we remove the rear hatch entry point to the logistics trucks? This will force people to use the side doors only. Allowing for easier trip wire placement and other benefits.

Re: Remove the rear entry on Log Truck
What other benifits are we talking here, and why would you want to place a tripwire - surely you would here the truck start before you here the pssssss of the flare?

Re: Remove the rear entry on Log Truck
-Wires don't always trip flares
-Sometimes I'll position myself to watch the entry point(s) of a vehicle if its left abandoned. -This will prevent people from hiding behind it, like dropping a crate, hopping out and getting field dressings, then instantly being able to be in the drivers seat and be moving at the press of a button. -People trying to get in a vehicle should avoid standing behind it. So this would reinforce a good habit. -You can back a truck up to water, and get in the back and out the door, where you couldn't get out due to the mapper using terrain height differences. -Placing mines behind or under the rear end of the vehicle will become more effective since people are less likely to enter from the rear. ...just to name a few I don't really like the rear entry point on transport trucks either, but since they're carrying people back there, it's only logical that people would run there in order to get in. |

Re: Remove the rear entry on Log Truck
No, don't remove it on tacical basis, if the logistics truck driver is for some reason under fire, then he has a valid reason to enter the truck from the back.
Just make it alot slower, and so people who enter from the sides get preference. |
