Project Reality: ARMA2 Installation Guide

• Installation order

1. Install Arma2
2. Install Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead
3. Install any DLC you may of bought - BAF/PMC (optional but BAF is recommended)
4. Install patch 1.60 and then install 1.62 > Follow this link <
   
5. Run Arma2 and Arrowhead separately at least once to create profiles
6. While Arrowhead is open, set-up your profile and settings for graphics etc and test to ensure they work by playing single player campaign if only for a few minutes.

• Installing Project Reality: ARMA2

Once you have Arma2 CO v1.62 successfully installed and running, you can then install Project Reality: ARMA2. You can download the files from here.

!!!IMPORTANT!!! Prior to installing any new release of PR:Arma2 you must uninstall old versions first!

1. Run the installer and point it to your Arma2 CO installation directory. ( Arrowhead for Steam users )
2. Once done you can run it by clicking on shortcut created on desktop.
3. In addition, its highly recommended to use the latest BIS beta patch as there have been several important bug-fixes since patch 1.62.
4. If you wish to use beta patch, ensure you add the switch '-beta' to your Project Reality shortcut.

Your target line in shortcut should look like this. Note that it depends on where you installed your game, so do not copy - paste this to your target line!

"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ARMA2\@PR\praa.exe" -beta

!!!IMPORTANT!!! Since BIS has released new patch 1.62, you are required to download updated PRAA.EXE in order to play on PR servers. You can get the file on the following link. Extract that to your @PR directory and overwrite when prompted.
