Default Need upgrade advice

Here's what I have:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640 3GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT (512Mb)
MB: ASRock 760GM-GS3
RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR3 2x 4 GB 1600 MHz
PSU: LC Power Silent LC5550 V2.2 550 W
HDD: Western Digital 160 GB,Internal,7200 RPM,3.5" (WD1600JS-00NCB1)

Here's what I plan to upgrade with:
GPU: GeForce GTX 760, 2 GB
MB: ASRock N68C-GS FX
CPU: AMD FX-Series FX-8350 Box, 4,0 GHz
HDD: WD Blue 1 TB, 7200 rpm, 64 MB, SATA III

Also new monitor: AOC m2752V

Do I need a new MB or will the old one suffice? Will I need a new power supply? Is the monitor choice good?

At the moment the whole thing comes to around 800 euros, but I'm trying to keep on a budget here. If it's too much I'll drop the monitor and/or switch to GTX 650 instead of 760. My preference to AMD over Intel is also budget related (always was), but would i3/i5 be better?

Just for price checking/availability I order all my parts from this website (no English language support)
mimovrste=)

edit: I came up with a budget variant, comes in at round 300.

Gigabyte GTX 650, 2 GB GDDR5, PCI-E 3.0 (GV-N650OC-2GI)
Intel Core i3 3240 3,4 GHz, Box, 1155 (BX80637I33240SR0RH)
ASRock H61M-DGS, 1155

I would go for a i5 or i7 or Intel in general, although iirc not lots of games have the need for a i7 yet.
In general the Intel CPU's are considered better for gaming while AMD's market is targeting CAD/videoediting (iirc). AMD processors dont' have real cores, they're virtual (again iirc) and perform

For 50 bucks more you can get a GTX 670 which is a bit better, but I don't think it's really worth the 50 dollars unless you're planning to play with two screens. The 760 is the best you can get for your money I suppose.
PassMark Software - Video Card Benchmarks - High End Video Cards

But you can't really go any other directions.

Buy the GPU, monitor, and hard drive now.
Buy an aftermarket CPU Cooler/fan now, that is compatible wiht both AM3+ CPUs, and with the future LGA1150 or LGA 1155 CPU/motherboard purchase.
Save money and buy the Intel unlocked CPU and Mobo later.

Overclock your existing CPU, do not pass 125 TDP, which is almost impossible, and you should be able to run games at better CPU speeds, and with new GPU on new monitor, making it acceptable while you put some money aside for new CPU/mobo.

If you can wait on buying a GPU, I'd suggest waiting a week or two until the new AMD GPUs are released. Should reduce the pricing of the older GPUs you are looking at.

Do you use your PC for tasks that will actually use the 8 Cores , 4 Modules of the FX-8XXX series CPU?
If not, the FX-62XX with 6 cores, 3 modules, comes in cheaper.
Or save some more for the intel unlocked i5 and Z77 or Z87 mobo.

Here's the revised list:

Gigabyte GA-Z77-HD3, 1155
Intel Core i5 3570K 3,4 GHz Box, 1155 (BX80637I53570KSR0PM)
WD Blue 1 TB, 7200 rpm, 64 MB, SATA III (WD10EZEX)

I'll split the upgrade with GPU+monitor later on (maybe Christmas if there's sales).
