Another forum member from the UK just went through buying a PC in the same price range:
check out the convo here, his Ebay.co.uk dealer might work for you:

The ebay store, at the time he first linked to it, had pretty good prices and they had decent customer service in regards to swapping (upgrading) a part or two.

The one I seen had these specs below:
Intel Core 2 Duo E2160 CPU
Memory: 4 GB DDR2 SDRAM
Hard Drive: 80 GB SATA hard drive
Optical Drive: DVD-ReWriter drive
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GT 610 1GB/ATI Radeon HD 5450 2GB

Is that good enough for PR standards?

definitely NOT going to be able to run PR.

That CPU is just worthless at this point. Like you can probably buy 100 of those CPUs for 50 quid from an e-recycler.

That GPU is also definitely not going to cut it.

You'd do better randomly pulling PCs out of garbage tips,

... Just having a laugh, but yeah, that's not going to cut it.

Isn't that one of those AMD APUs (integrated quite good graphics IN the CPU, but not enough to handle PR afaik) or IS that mentioned " Graphics Card : ATI 8570D " even the integrated one? If so, maybe it can run PR, but the CPU/APU might become quite hot... (wait for another reply of Litoralis please)

At least the " Memory : 8GB DDR3 1600mhz Memory" is good, maybe you can mention the manufacturer?

Daniel is right, the Graphics Card : ATI 8570D is the integrated GPU on the CPU die, it's not powerful enough to play PR with.

That being said, the rest of the components are quite nice, if the cost of that PC plus cost of purchasing a discrete GPU is in your total budget, I would consider that a decent option.

You're missing a 200 to be able to cut in and get a decent rig. So save some money and wait for the time to come. You can get last machine you listed but you will need a decent gpu to run anything on it. APU will not cut it.

But, Litoralis, isn't the APU GPU in that APU between the GeForce GT 640 and GeForce 9800 GTX+ performance wise?
