Update: Keep Project Reality Alive!

The Project Reality Team is currently in a financial crisis and needs your support to help keep Project Reality alive!

The Project Reality Team develops modifications and games that are completely free for its community to download and play. The cost of Project Reality's web server, domain names, code signing certificate, etc. however are not free. On average, it cost the team around $400 a month to keep developing Project Reality! Recently, our Google AdSense account was suspended for violation Google's very strict content policy. This, along with not meeting our donation goals over the past couple of months, has caused our available funds to become dangerously low. Our dedicated community is still very strong and now more than ever we need your support to keep Project Reality going!

To get our finances back in order so that we can continue developing Project Reality, we are starting an emergency fundraising campaign. A donation goal of $1,500 has been set and we hope to reach it within the next month. Please show your support for Project Reality by making a donation today! If we have already met our donation goal, please do not hesitate to make a donation anyway as we may not make our donation goal every month.


How To Help Project Reality
Anyone can make a donation to Project Reality by visiting our donations page. You do not have to be registered on the Project Reality Forums to make a donation, however if you are registered and logged in, you will be excluded from seeing any future advertisements on the forums.

Project Reality Server License administrators and moderators are encouraged to reach out to their community members who may not visit our website regularly and ask them to make donations. Also, any clan or other community website can place any of the promotional images listed here on their websites to link back to Project Reality.

All donations made to Project Reality are processed safely and securely through PayPal. You do not have to have a PayPal account in order to make a donation. You can simply use any major credit card if you wish. When making a donation, you can optionally setup a recurring payment to allow you to make a donation on a schedule that you choose.


Project Reality: BF2 Update
Since the release of PR:BF2 v1.2, the Project Reality Team has been keeping busy producing even more content for our award winning modification to Battlefield 2. While the focus for the next version lies especially on bug fixes and overall stability improvements, you can also expect to see an ample amount of gameplay improvements and major game affecting updates in PR:BF2 v1.3.

Further versions will include more content such as several new factions, brand new maps and more! Currently the PR Team is finalizing v1.3 with more info coming up soon, but listed below is a small sneak-peek of two projects that are also being worked on and to be included in later versions: the Type 21 Frigate and Polish Armed Forces faction. You can expect to see a media release in the coming weeks with detailed information outlining specifically what will be included in the PR:BF2 v1.3 release and of course more eye-candy.

In conclusion, the Project Reality Team would like to thank all of the supporting websites, server providers and of course our dedicated community for their continued support. Without your combined efforts and contributions, Project Reality would not be where it is today.

i am honestly not surprised, the community is very small and the mod is asking 350 bucks a month (over 5k a year) to keep itself running.


What happened with google adsense tho, and can you get it back and working?

I'll push it a bit as well. I love PR and have to say the hours spent on playing this mod beats any 60 dollar game that I played in the last 5 years by 20x. So there goes a 100 dollar donation . Keep up the good work and thanks for creating such amazing gameplay experiences for the 9 years I have been playing this mod.

Fair enough, however, IMO realitymod just wont be able to sustain itself in base of donations until the mod grows larger (and it looks like the mod is going the opposite way).

I don't know how many hours I put into PR over the years; but it's definitely a lot(as in 100+).
