Win10 Crash on Startup
I downloaded PR:BF2 via the image... logged in with my profile and tried to start it, but the only thing I get is a black screen and it closes without and error message...
After searching the forums I tried some solutions, installed directX9, .netframework. Changed graphic-options and resolution. Only if I start in on windowed mode I get an error message: Quote:
Would be nice to finally be able to play this game. | |

Re: Win10 Crash on Startup
Try setting display mode to 800x600 and disable custom res. Also make sure your screen supports 60Hz, some only do 59

Re: Win10 Crash on Startup
I can't set the display mode to 800x600, theres only 1920x1080 and 1280x720 to select.

Re: Win10 Crash on Startup
This PC/Documents/Project Reality/Profiles set video.con on each profile (default/0001/etc) to 1920X108060Hz maybe.
Open with notepad and save each one - remove custom resolution. |

Re: Win10 Crash on Startup
I finally found a solution.
The problem was, that my Nvidia card and/or my monitor didn't recognize 800x600 as a useable resolution. So I simply added it as a custom one and it worked! Just if anyone else has the same problem |
