Default Vulnerable Merkava

Hey guys, two times I've experienced the Merkava blowing up, without any prior damage to it, due to minor static objects.
Once was on Beirut, me and friend tried to squeeze Merkava between a bench and a tree, go insta-boom.
Second time was on Bijar, we had just finished fully repairing with deployed repair station from logi. When we move out, driver doesn't turn enough away from repair station, go insta-boom.
Seems to me that the bottom armor is a bit to vulnerable to minor statics.

That's a real good contribution to the thread bruh

On an honest note I believe that is simply a limitation of the engine that you will have to deal with. I've noticed alot of issues with this across many vehicles (especially tank barrels in tight spaces) I don't think it's limited to the merkava.

Maybe a rework of the physics for benches like they did to tree stumps and recently gravestones would help?

I remember dropping a repair station in front of a moving merkava. He drove into it and blew up

This has been happening with all armor in confined spaces since forever, but merkava and abrams are most vulnerable to it

That wasn't a "physics rework", we simply removed vehicle collision so now you drive through them like they aren't there. Not really an all-round solution unless you'd like vehicles basically wallhacking through statics. What X-Alt says is the best I'd offer here.

Front armor still does not work properly, fairly sure side armor doesn't either

We investigated reports of this and Merkava behaves as intended. Are you sure you did not get hit on exposed side/top armor?
