cant start it

yea so i downloaded the .5 version and install it. all works out good and then i pop in the BF2 SF cd and click on the pr short cut. The BF2 loading desktop screen comes up but the game never loads, it just stays on the desktop loading screen.

If I could get some insight on this problem I would be very pleased, thanks

just updated my bf2 to 1.41 and same thing is still happening

where you playing single-player? cause, it wont go... try creating a local server... it works for me.

ok i tried just starting up bf2 sf and same thing is happening
do i have to reinstall?

Hey its me, almost! Welcome to the forums.

If you have the original bf2 cd (not SF) try using that.

I really Liked the the ver 0.4, I downloaded ver 05 today, and the exe installs the Mod with the Path C:\Programs Files\EA Games\BF2\Mod\levels ??...Inside the levels folder is the " PR " folder with all the normal stuff that was in ver 0.4, but 0.5 want load useing EXE that was made on 0.5 install !!. I can remove the "PR" folder; go into the game and click on custom games and check PR 04, then the game will play.
BTW: At present time I'm downloading 0.5 again to make sure I have a good install from a diff sever ¿.. OH one other thing I can only see 4 maps in single player--->[ 1-Airport_ 2-Gulf of Oman wac_ 3-Mao Valley_ 4- Operation Comption ] in single player mode, is this normal ? or is this a MP mod only......CHEERS
PS: The last DL didn't help things either.
