Basicly, he is expressing the opinion that people that play, constantly, spec ops ALMOST ALWAYS lonewolf and screw about, deducting from the game at times, sometimes intentionaly. These players will usualy look like a single blue dot on your mini map, or a huge blue mass with the odd SL number thrown in. Neither of these formations are very productive.
It is the worst kit too, aside from the fully auto M4 (you'll notice hes mainly refering to USMC SF, as his pic has a little 1337 cap on his head), cuz of RoF. However, they seem to ignore the people messaging and VOIPing them thay "Its Kashan desert. Your wasting your time with the M4 cuz everyone else can shoot you at 3x the distance". And Also, they seem to think that 7.62 is the weight of the gun their carrying, and not the round that will kill them in one, for lack of body armour. I find players that play spec ops usualy do this: -}Sparten-n1nja-w0lf{-, im sorry i have already issued all the sniper kits. How about a jackdaniels? -}Sparten-n1nja-w0lf{-, im sorry i have already issued all the Marksman. How about a jackdaniels? -}Sparten-n1nja-w0lf, I have issued you your Granadier kit. They have a habit of, repeatedly, rushing your tank and putting a slam on it, in the belief that it will destroy the tank in a wild explosion, cuz d4ts wut Sp3c 0ps do!!1!11!one. You may find that it is players that closely fit this description happen to be the one that TKs you during that round. ...mongol... |

Spec Ops is never really useful. The only maps I find it has some real use is on the insurgents maps.

Yeah,
to me, when i see i spec ops on my side, i treat him like a potential accident, waiting to happen. People tend to play it when they 1st start playing PR, fresh from vbf2 because SF was UNDENIEABLEY the best class to chose in vbf2. They just think they are teh_1337 and are carrying out some specialist mission, behind enemy lines(despite rolling with the big blue mob, most of the time). Prime targets as MEC(and most forces). They go down in one and my lead a medic to his own fate. Lowest priority for a USMC medic. I aint going down for no lone wolf, for the reaons above. ...mongol... |

Well, Spec Ops -can- be useful, in the hands of a decently skilled player who isn't a lone wolf. I've found it very useful for Close Quarter Combat, especially the PLA and MEC ones, less so with the UK and USMC ones. Sometimes, not having a scope is a good thing. And the Slams are still useful against stuff you wouldn't want to waste C4 on.
