LtSoucy's Basic Inf Tactics
************************************************** ******** Ok just to start these are made for the 0.7 Release. ************************************************** ******** To start lets do basic loadouts and other basic needs to be a great squad. BASIC KIT'S Now as you join the squad at start of game make sure SL has a microphone. Now as the squad is getting kits given out the SL will tell you a kit to get, MAKE SURE YOU GET IT. No the best loadout for all roles of a Inf squad is this: (Man 6)Squad Leader:Officer Kit Man 1:Riflemen Man 2:Riflemen AT Man 3:Medic Man 4:Support Kit Man 5:Engineer Now with those kits lets show how to do a basic column. Man 1 Man 2 Man 6 Man 3 Man 4 Man 5 The riflemen and Riflemen-At kits should be up front followed by SL and medic in middle. If a firefight starts Man 4 should run ahead of squad and move with Man 2. The Medic and SL should stay togather to a basic living role. Man 5 should move with Man 1 as a basic assualt role. BASIC FIRE TEAMS Now a squad should have fire teams. Using the kits above lets make 2 fireteams for a 6 man unit. FireTeam Alpha Man 1 Man 2 Man 4 FireTeam Bravo Man 3 Man 5 Man 6 Now the 2 fireteams must work toagther. When Alpha is moving Bravo is covering at all times. If the teams must split the teams will regroup at a point marked by SL. Togather the teams if in a firefight and not togather should watch fire. The Medic will not run through fire to save a TK from other fireteam. ************************************************** **************************** Rapid Movement by car Now if the squad must get in a car the first to get in. He should be the most protected. If in a hummer its the driver spot. The squad should take 2 light cars if possible. So if 1 car gets destroyed the other can complete mission and later regroup with the rest. ************************************************** ***************************** This guide will be updated with screenshots and movies at a later time. Please do not rate any Squad Leaders(Unless horrible) on this guide. |

Very nice.
As an Army Ranger I love PR and always want to incorporate squad formations and movement SOPs while playing. The problem is maybe 1 in 1000 players want to do this kind of stuff also. It's just hard to find them. |
