i have a problem connection to a server :)

i just installed bf2 and the 1.41 patch and applied the core first then the levels .. the games works perfect in lan (to warm up ) but when trying to join a server it gives me that i have an older version than the server and i cant seem to join any kind of server online !!


plz help me im dyin to play this mod

I have the same issue as well.

Fresh install of BF2 w/ 1.41 patch direct from EA, then downloaded both PR-708 Core & Maps from the torrents.

Any ideas?

Figured out what was wrong, thought I had 1.41, turns out it was just 1.4

since it works locally - i guess it has something to do with online stuff since i read that alot of ppl got problem with punkbuster - you might want to manually update PB

but again thats just guessing and i never had PB problems or your specific problem

also might wanna try whats in my sig

edit: also check your downloaded files with md5 or similar
