Helicopters for PLA/MEC
I was just wondering about the fact, that there is only one transport heli and one attack heli of for PLA/MEC, while US/UK have a bunch of choppers and they will even get more.
US/UK: Merlin Transport LB Attack LB (Minigun) Attack LB (Rockets) Transport Huey Attack Huey (Rockets) Transport BH Chinook Cobra Apache kind of a chopper - V-22 Osprey and someone is modelling the CH-53 I read a few days ago PLA/MEC: Havoc WZ-10 Z-8 MEC transport chopper (don't know the name. It looks like a Mi-17(1)) China Chopper on Qwai (looks like kind of a SA 360, but it can't be because the SA 360 is a 2+8/10 seater and I couldn't find a version IRL with machineguns - and ingame this chopper flys kind of crap) MEC Chopper on Kashan (don't know what this is, maybe a BO-xxx something) As i stated in another thread PLA/MEC is a bit behind on the equipment side even if these factions are getting a few new rifles. IMO they need some fast transport choppers. For PLA I would suggest the SA 360: DAUPHIN 2 (AEROSPATIALE) This chopper can be used as transport or kind of attack chopper like the huey. For MEC I can't really imagine a transport chopper, as this faction consists out of a lot of countries. Maybe the Ka-60. Ka-60 "Kasatka" / Ka-62 MEC should have a lot of money, so they could easily effort any transport helicopter. Maybe this can be considered by the devs in a future release. |

Re: Helicopters for PLA/MEC
It's a very good point. They may not see those exact helicopters that you mentioned above, but giving them more assets is definitely on the list.

Re: Helicopters for PLA/MEC
That'll be the Chinese Dauphin rip off then, as theres no confirmed navalized version of the Ka-60.
Oh, and WTB lynx. |
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig! |

Re: Helicopters for PLA/MEC
I think the MI 35 should be MEC transport/assaulat,like the LB. There is one already modeled from bf2 Special Forces
