Exclamation Major FPS drop

When facing towards the middle of the map i get a huge FPS drop from ~100 to about 20~ depending on the map ofcourse

I get this and ive heard alot of others having the same problem.
And changing settings does not affect the issue, still the same drop

And oh first post, Hi everyone

Personally I cant play Lashkar valley whatsoever. No matter where I look I get 5-15 fps pretty much.

Yamalia isn't nice on my laptop either, but its at least kinda playable.

I havent tried all the maps yet, but those 2 are the ones I've had the most problems with so far.

guys, when you talk about FPS and overall performance, please post your system specs, or at least fill your profiles with it

I tried to play Beirut.... couldn't do anything at all. It was running at like 1 frame per second when I spawned in (inside the city). It crashed shortly after with a memory error. Happened repeatedly until I lowered my settings to the minimum but my frames still weren't that good. Weird part was when I had the view of the city, just before you spawn in, my frame rate was fine.
I tried Lashkar valley after that and even with my settings turned down to minimum It would drop below 15 frames per second at parts. I know I don't have a great system (and I don't have money to buy a new one yet) but the difference between how well the new maps run compared to the old is considerable and I was under the impression that they would run similarly based on a post a dev made in a thread a while back. So can a dev confirm, are the new maps supposed to require much more resources than the old ones?

I thought I noticed longer load in times as well, I heard the devs did something to the way things are loaded in or something which was supposed to lower these load in times. Perhaps it has caused the opposite for us and is what is affecting our frame rate. However, that may just be wishful thinking, hoping for an easy fix. Both those maps have a lot of statics and I wouldn't be surprised if my inadequate core 2 duo e4300 was having trouble with all the calls to memory being made.

Exiled.
